More Info...

Immune Function - Zinc is present in our skin and mucous membranes which act as our first lines of defense against infection. It also assists in the production of white blood cells responsible for fighting viruses, bacteria and other foreign invaders once they enter the body.

Skin Health – Zinc plays a role in the production of collagen in the skin, helping to maintain skin elasticity and combat aging. It also helps regulate oil secretion in the skin helping with breakouts, dry skin conditions and stretch marks.

Wound Healing – Zinc is involved in cell growth and repair which are both vital for healthy tissue regeneration and healing.

Men’s Reproductive Health – Men require nearly twice as much Zinc as women and it helps maintain testosterone, prostate health, fertility and libido.

Brain and Mood – Zinc helps soothe the nervous system and balance the mood as well as protect the brain from toxins that may contribute towards cognitive decline.

Growth and Development – Zinc plays a role in cell growth and division and is therefore vital for the healthy growth and development of the fetus during pregnancy as well as in children, teenagers and adults.

Antioxidant Protection – Zinc is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the cells against oxidative damage, protecting the heart, providing skin protection against harmful UV rays and helping to rid the body of toxins such as alcohol and heavy metals.

Enzymatic Reactions -
Zinc is necessary for the activity of over 300 enzymes involved in metabolism, digestion, nerve function and many other processes. It is one of the enzymes crucial for proper taste and smell.
