Manuka honey is derived from the nectar found in the flowers that grow on the Manuka plant, native to New Zealand. It is this nectar that makes Manuka honey so special, as it contains certain photochemical compounds found nowhere else in the world. The word “Blend” simply refers to the occasional addition by an exuberant busy bee happily servicing other native flowers in the area.

Manuka honey has the added benefit of containing more vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants than other type of honey.
