1. What is Colloidal Silver?
Colloidal Silver is the most powerful, natural, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti viral, anti-parasite and body normalising substance ever discovered and used in medicine.
2. What does it look like?
When first made Colloidal Silver is clear, like water. Up to 36 hours later it develops into a light gold colour. As time goes on this colour darkens to a lovely gold colour. Colloidal silver should not be taken if it has a blue/black or pink appearance. This means it has been exposed to sunlight or has been contaminated in some way.
3. How is it made?
Colloidal Silver is made by suspending pure silver rods into pure distilled water. When a low voltage electrical charge is placed across the rods, ions of silver are drifted off in the process of electricity passing from one rod to the other. These ‘ions’ carry an electrical charge and in that state the silver remains suspended in the water.
4. What is a colloid?
A colloid is a liquid containing tiny particles of any kind of mineral, little larger than atoms. They are so tiny that they are permanently suspended in the water. Sea water contains colloids of all minerals, and the sea has been estimated to contain around 8000 million tons of colloidal gold.
5. Can Colloidal Silver lose its effectiveness?
Yes. If Colloidal Silver is stored within the magnetic field of electrical devices such as TV’s, Microwaves refrigerators’ or washing machines, the electrical charge on the Silver colloids can be destroyed by that magnetic field. Most bottles of Colloidal Silver have an expiry date stamped on the bottle.
6. How do I store my Colloidal Silver?
It is absolutely essential to store your Colloidal Silver in a dark place as Colloidal Silver is light sensitive. A bathroom cupboard, bedside drawer or pantry with a door, are all ideal places. Do not store Colloidal Silver in the fridge.
7. Is Colloidal Silver used internally or externally?
Both, use internally to aid 100’s of ailments and use externally to assist in the healing of skin infections, cuts, scratches, warts, ringworm, eczema, ulcers, nappy rash etc and many other skin conditions.
8. When do I use Colloidal Silver?
Use Colloidal Silver internally for any health problems and externally for cuts, burns and any skin irritations. Colloidal Silver can support the bodys immune system to aid over 650 health problems, and more are being added to this list every year.
Here are just a few, Acne, Allergies, Asthma, Athletes Foot, Bladder infection, Burns, Candida, Chilblains, Cuts and wounds, Cystitis, Emphysema, Eye infections, Hayfever, Herpes, Leg Ulcers, Mastitis, Nappy rash, Psoriasis, Shingles, Staph infections, Thrush, Ulcers, Vaginal infections, Warts.

14. What is Argyria?
A side effect of Silver when made with inferior water, heavy metal and taken in excess, was a condition called Argyria. The cause of this is when silver particles become lodged under the skin, fingernails and under the eyes giving the skin a blue grey look.
We are aware of two cases, a Rosemary Jacobs and Stan Jones.
Evidently Rosemary’s condition was caused by a Silver Nitrate nasal spray prescribed by her doctor not by Colloidal silver.
Stan Jones would generate an 8 oz glassful of Colloidal Silver every day, using tap water and salt which produces a very high ppm Silver Chloride. He drank this solution daily for 8 years before noticing his skin discolouration. Under these conditions it is not Colloidal Silver that is being made, but a silver compound whereby the silver has reacted with the minerals in the water, depending on what these minerals are. Silver Chloride is one possibility, or Silver Calcite, or a Silver Magnesium compound.
Silver today is made in Colloidal form using pure distilled water. The particles are so light they float in the pure water, so in our bodies this Colloidal metal will float in the bloodstream and cellular fluids that can be easily absorbed and eliminated. This is why, today, Colloidal Silver is safe to use without the fear of Argyria
15. Are your plastic bottles safe?
Yes. These plastic bottles are made from the new high quality PET plastic. It is the equivalent of glass for inertness and although quite expensive is light in weight and safe.
1. How is Real Salt different from common table salt?
During the refining process of common table salt, nearly 50 trace minerals, most of which our bodies need for optimum health, are lost. However, RealSalt, which is unrefined, still contains all 50 plus of these lost minerals.
2. Where does it come from?
Deep below the earth in Redmond, Utah, lies a pure rich salt deposit left behind by the evaporation of an ancient, unpolluted Jurassic sea. This mineral-rich salt is carefully extracted and marketed as RealSalt.
3. Does it look different to normal refined salt?
Some refined salts are chunky, damp and difficult to pour. RealSalt is flecked, pinkish brown, clean, free pouring and as fine particled as refined salt.
4. Does it taste like the normal salt we are use to?
We have so many testimonials from customers who say once they have tasted RealSalt, there is no going back to refined white table salt, the taste is so superior.
5. Will I get enough Iodine if I use Real Salt?
Real Salt contains natural occurring Iodine but not enough to meet the recommended daily intake. The amount of Iodine in Real Salt is approx 8mcg and 98% bio-availability compare with the chemically added Iodine in refined salt at 40% bio-availability. The RDI of 100-150mcg per day is based on chemically added Iodine. Kelp powder is rich in Iodine and a great natural way to increase your Iodine intake naturally.
1. What does Active 12+ or 18+ mean?
Active 12+ or 18+ indicates the concentrated level of antibacterial activity present in the honey.
2. Why do you have "Manuka Honey blend" on your label?
The bee-keepers place their beehives in beautiful New Zealand bush areas where there is high concentration of Manuka trees but there are other trees such as Kanuka as well. Most of the bees visit the Manuka flower but some will visit other flowers that may be out at the time. It is the bees themselves who bring about this blend and is how our Active 12+ and Active 18+ Manuka Honey derives its unique delicious taste.
1. Can I take CAA with my medication?
All nutrients in CAA capsules are natural to the body and are in normal daily amounts. So they should not react with medical drugs. The symptoms the drugs are treating however, may slowly disappear over a three month period as you take CAA . The drugs could then possibly affect you abnormally. So this aspect would need to be monitored with your doctor.
2. Can children take CAA?
Once toddlers are eating solid food they should be able to take one CAA capsule every second day, or half the contents of one capsule every day. This can be mixed with their food or in baking. But monitor this carefully at first to make sure there are no reactions. From school age onward CAA can be increased to one capsule a day, but monitor this change also. During the teenage rapid growth years, the need for minerals sky-rockets. If a 14-17 year old appears listless or depressed they could try taking two CAA a day.
3. Should I take CAA if I am pregnant?
Yes, very much so. It is even more important to take CAA while attempting to become pregnant, so as to have all the required trace minerals during first 2 weeks following conception. This is when the foundation of a healthy child is laid down. By the time you discover you are pregnant it is too late.
4. Is CAA exactly the same as Percy Weston's original mineral powder?'
CAA uses the exact same formula as Percy Weston's original eight mineral blend, with the exception of Sodium (salt) which is now abundant in the modern diet, and a lesser amount of Iron for the same reason. Most NZ breakfast cereals and also Marmite/Vegemite now have Iron added. Nevertheless, some athletes and childbearing women who menstruate heavily may benefit from extra Iron. Although avoiding drinking tea and coffee with your meals, and up to an hour and a quarter afterwards, can increase your Iron absorbtion by an average of 64% by avoiding tea and 39% for coffee.
CAA also contains the important minerals lacking in NZ soils and foods, such as Selenium, Boron, Iodine, Silica and Chromium which are not in Percy Weston's original formulation, (Australian soils tend to be higher in minerals than NZ soils). CAA also contains the B, C, D and E vitamins in highly absorbable form.
The bulk minerals in CAA are also in the more expensive citrate form, rather than agricultural sulphate form that Percy Weston used. Citrates assist the body to absorb minerals which is why Percy recommended taking his sulphate minerals with lemon juice for better absorption. So there is no need to drink lemon juice with the CAA minerals. CAA also contains some natural bio-Sulphur to equal the Sulphur that Percy Weston’s original sulphate formula contained.
5. Why is CAA in capsule form rather than a tablet?
For better absorption. Tablets are cheaper to manufacture, but there is much evidence that tablets often pass through the body only partly dissolved, even in people with normal digestion. Also, in capsule form the minerals can be emptied from the capsule and taken as a powder, or mixed into everyday food or baking. Percy Weston's original formula was in powder form.
6. Can I take two CAA capsules a day?
Yes certainly. There have been reports of additional health benefits when taking two CAA capsules a day. It is probably advisable to take two CAA a day while recovering from poor health or following surgery. One in the morning and the other later in the day. But revert back to one a day if sleep should appear to be adversely affected. Bear in mind that mineral balance is more important to our body than quantity, and that long term, one CAA a day should be sufficient.
8. When is the best time to take CAA?
Reports are clear that most people have the best results with CAA when taken with the evening meal. This also seems to promote more restful sleep. But don't be afraid to experiment with different times. We are all different.
9. Why doesn't CAA contain Calcium?
Calcium is a bulk mineral and your full daily RDI requirement would require nearly two CAA size capsules. Calcium is best obtained from our food and requires food, Magnesium, Boron, and Vitamin D for absorption. One capsule a day of Coral C taken immediately after your evening meal should supply your daily shortfall of Calcium, or half a teaspoon daily of food grade Dolomite, mixed with food (yoghurt is ideal).
